MOSCOW, October 12 - RAPSI, Sergei Feklyunin. A commercial court will hold on November 18 the preliminary hearing of the Central Partnership Sales House's lawsuit against the CP Digital DVD movies distributor for $2.24 million, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).

The lawsuit was filed on September 28.

RAPSI has yet to reach the parties for comments on the subject in dispute.

Central Partnership is Russia's largest distributor and maker of motion pictures and television products. It owns the rights to more than 1,400 full-length films and 4,000 hours of serials.

CP Digital was established in 2000. It is a leader on the Russian DVD market. It distributes Central Partnership's productions on DVD on an exclusive basis and cooperates with major TV channels, according to its website.
