MOSCOW, October 4 - RAPSI, Alyona Yegorova. The Moscow Commercial Court postponed on Tuesday until November 8 its hearing of the Eurocement Group's lawsuit against BazelTsement-Pikalyovo for nearly $7.4 million in damages, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reports from the courtroom.

Eurocement seeks the damages, as BazelTsement-Pikalyovo refused to supply raw materials in August 2008. The claimant allegedly received fewer profits than planned as a result.

The defendant argued that the claimant has not produced sufficient evidence of its losses.

BazelTsement-Pikalyovo is part of BazelTsement, which was established in 2006 within the Basic Element holding. BazelTsement runs its cement and nonmetalics production and processing businesses.
