MOSCOW, September 22 - RAPSI. A regional commercial court scheduled for October 20 the preliminary hearings in two Defense Ministry lawsuits against a munitions factory for over $77 million on Friday, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).

The court said the 2.071 billion ruble ($74 million) lawsuit is based on the defendant's failure to deliver BMP-3 infantry combat vehicles under a contract dated April 13, 2007.
Both lawsuits were filed on September 20.

The defendant Kurganmashzavod manufactures military equipment and multipurpose utilities construction machines. Its output in the first six months of 2011 was 4.112 billion rubles ($147 million).
