MOSCOW, September 16 - RAPSI, Natalia Belova. A court postponed until October 17 an appeal filed by Otsenka-5 on the bankruptcy of major insurance company Rosstrakh, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reported on Friday.

Rosstrakh provides over 50 insurance services and operates over 100 subdivisions. The company's authorized capital is approximately 210 million rubles ($7.1 million).

The Federal Service for Financial Markets partially revoked Rosstrakh's operating license in June.

During a previous hearing, Rosstrakhs lawyer said the insurer would repay its 2 million ruble ($69,000) liability.

The court postponed the hearing due to the parties failure to attend it. Thus, the court was unable to confirm the debt repayment, since no evidence was provided.
