MOSCOW, September 1 - RAPSI, Natalia Belova. The Moscow District Federal Commercial Court has upheld a lower court judgment in favor of OGK-2, a power company, in its suit against Nomos Bank for 48.3 million rubles ($1.7 million),the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).

The Moscow Commercial Court held in favor of the power companys claim against the bank in February, but awarded it less than the 138.6 million rubles ($4.9 million) it had sought. The court of appeals upheld the award.

OGK-2 owns five hydropower stations in Russia, with an aggregate capacity of over 8.7 GWt.

Nomos Bank, is one of Russias top 30 banks and a full-service financial institution.
