MOSCOW, September 1 - RAPSI. British oil giant BP is expected to appeal a Tyumen Region Commercial Court decision to issue a warrant to search BPs office in Moscow, BP Russia president Jeremy Huck told Russia Today. BP maintains the search is illegal and unfounded.

Court marshals reviewed documents at BP Exploration Operating Company yesterday in connection with a lawsuit filed by TNK-BP minority shareholders against TNK-BP board members Peter Anthony Charow and Richard Scott Sloan.

The shareholders are seeking 87.112 billion rubles ($3 billion) in damages over a failed partnership with Rosneft.
