MOSCOW, June 2 - RAPSI. The Meshchansky District Court in Moscow has ordered deportation of an unaccredited correspondent who was working for a Georgian television channel, the court’s press secretary Yelena Kolesnikova told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).

She said the court also fined the journalist 2,000 rubles ($70).

The journalist was indicted for violating the immigration laws of the Russian Federation. The police established that the journalist also failed to have registration documents.

A Moscow law enforcement source told RIA Novosti on May 31 that two TV channel employees were detained after having their documents checked at the memorial ceremony of Sergei Bagapsh, the former Abkhazian president.
