Moscow, May 3 - RAPSI, Alyona Yegorova. The Moscow Federal District Commercial Court has overturned the suspension of a claim filed by the Federal Property Management Agency (Rosimushchestvo) against Setunskaya.

Setunskaya is part of the Inteko Group, which is owned by Yelena Baturina, the wife of former Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov.

The agency seeks to recover a 16.387 hectare land plot in western Moscow.

Rosimushchestvo claims a 24.4 hectare land plot was reserved for foreign missions by presidential decree in 1993.

In January, the Moscow Commercial Court suspended the legal action until the end of another lawsuit filed by Rosimushchestvo against Rosreestr for registering a land plot encompassing the disputed area. The Court of Appeals upheld the ruling on March 31.

On Sept. 17, Inteko said Rosimushchestvo’s claims for the land plot are groundless.

According to the company’s press release, Setunskaya owns a 24.4 hectare land plot that has been registered and has a cadastral number. However, Rosimushchestvo specified the same cadastral number belonging to a different land plot in its claim. Additionally, the press release reads, Rosimushchestvo failed to specify or describe the land plot’s borders. Inteko stressed that the Unified State Register of Rights does not include any 16.387 hectare land plots in that area.
