MOSCOW, August 18 - RAPSI, Natalia Belova. The Moscow Commercial Court postponed until October 10 its consideration of an application for the bankruptcy of Soglassye Insurance Company, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reports from the courtroom.

Representative of the insurance company stated that it had repaid its debt to the claimant, a private individual, of 1.6 million rubles ($57,000), but was unable to produce any evidence of the payment.

The claimant failed to appear before the court. Considering the absence of both the claimant and any evidence of the debt’s repayment, the court decided to adjourn the hearings.
Soglassye was established in 1993 and is among Russia’s top-10 insurance companies.
