Watchdog employee put on international wanted list for embezzling $854k
MOSCOW, October 6 - RAPSI. Investigators placed the former general director of the watchdog's medical center on the international wanted list for embezzling $854,000 allocated for medical equipment, a source in the law enforcement authorities told RIA Novosti on Thursday.
Former General Director of the Federal Agency for State Property Management's medical center Lyayla Toropeyeva intentionally increased prices on medical equipment and drugs, purchased under state contracts, from 2006-2010.
The Moscow District Court sanctioned her arrest, the source told.
